Silvolde is a village in the Achterhoek that is part of the municipality of Oude IJsselstreek (formerly: municipality of Wisch) in the Dutch province of Gelderland; it borders directly to the town of Terborg. Silvolde has over 5800 inhabitants and a very thriving association life. During carnival, the village is called Zillewold.
