The cemetery is located right next to the Hoorneboegse Heide and the address is Kolhornseweg 13.
The gallery was designed by the architect Willem Marinus Dudok, just like the buildings on the somewhat older Noorderbegraafplaats in Hilversum.
At the end of 2015, the construction of the crematorium started on the basis of a design by Bierman Henket architects. The area around the forecourt has been redesigned. An office and ash issue have been realized in an existing outbuilding. The former workshop is now a crematorium. The former service house has been transformed into a condolence and coffee room, which can also be used as a small auditorium. Between the two buildings a quiet garden has been laid out with a view of the adjacent zuiderheide nature reserve. The new crematorium was opened on 29 July 2016.
