The Huis Barnaart is a monumental mansion at Nieuwe Gracht 7 in Haarlem. It can be visited as a museum since 2021. Willem Philip Barnaart, mayor and member of the States, initially commissioned architect Abraham van der Hart to renovate his house on the Nieuwe Gracht. At a certain moment it was decided to build a new building. On January 26, 1804, Barnaart laid the foundation stone for this. The coach house and the coachman's house, which belonged to the old house, were preserved. In 1807, King Louis Napoleon was a guest in the house. After Barnaart's death in 1851, the house passed into the hands of Willem Henry Koppiers and Tjepke Mulier.
