Brewery De Drie Koningen

This brewery/brasserie/restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful villages in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. In good weather you can taste the beers of Drie Koningen on the beautifully situated terrace in the shade of the beautiful old chestnut trees next to the Lutheran church. Inside there is a friendly brasserie atmosphere. The interior is decorated here and there with old musical instruments. Behind a glass wall you can admire the small but beautiful brewing installation with which the two own house beers are brewed: the Groes'n (a hoppy amber beer) and the Groese Wissel (a wheat beer), both available on tap. There are also 3 own specialty beers available that are brewed according to our own recipe at Brewery Strubbe: the Rosse Melchior (5.5% cherry), the Caspar (7.7% blonde triple) and the Balthazar (9.2% brown triple). You can also eat at the Three Kings for a reasonable price.

BeerExperience tip:
Walk around the church around the entire village square and then enter the Molenstraat and then immediately reach the Slijkstraat on the right. There is the Flemish Heritage, a kind of living museum street with shops and old crafts, including the small home brewery the "Groese Zwaluw". (the name of this brewery refers to the swallows that often nest in the old church tower of Groede)
