De Bunt is a nature reserve on the south side of the Slichtenhorst estate near Nijkerk and north of Zwartebroek in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The forest and heathland is freely accessible. The Bunt is a seepage area in which groundwater rises naturally. In the nature reserve, wet heathland, swamp forest, fields and trouser land alternate. The name of the area comes from bunt, bent or pipe straw. This type of grass, like many other stiff grass species, grows on marshy or heischral grasslands on moderately nutrient-rich soils. Due to the large amount of water, the soil, which in the past was only used for coppice, became impoverished. The small sundew also grows on the wet parts of De Bunt. Other plants in the area include peat fluff, sedge and sphagnum moss.
