The Achterste Molen from Loenen is a water-powered paper mill from 1654, rebuilt in 1933 in the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem.
The mill in Loenen was hit by fire in both 1881 and 1905. After Schut and Berends NV built a new paper mill in 1910, the mill and water wheel fell into disrepair and were demolished. The mill was donated to the museum by the Association of Dutch Paper Manufacturers. The water wheel has a diameter of 1.90 m and a width of 0.65 m. The mill is in regular operation, where demonstrations of artisanal paper making are given.
