The mill De Hoop is a windmill built in 1894 and is located at Molenweg 12 in Elspeet in the Dutch municipality of Nunspeet. This half belt, half gallery mill was built to replace a post mill that had burned down. The height of the belt and gallery is 3.60 meters. Gallery De Hoop is an octagonal wooden grain mill with three pairs of grinding stones. At the bottom of the mill, an electrically driven pair is mounted on a grinding chair. The wind-driven pairs have 16th art stones. The wooden octagon was originally built as a polder mill in Wateringen and was moved to Elspeet in 1894. The mill was a sub-mill; the associated main mill Maria-Antoinette is located in Zeilberg, Brabant.
