The Gebr. Remmerde is a hexagonal wooden ground sailer in the village of Nederhemert (municipality of Zaltbommel) in Gelderland. The mill, which is placed on a high masonry base, is covered with roofing felt. Hexagonal windmills are not common in the Netherlands anymore: there were eight in total in 2008. The mill was probably built in 1716 and originally belonged to Nederhemert Castle. In 1756 it was sold to Jelis van Oort. After that, the mill was resold several times. The Remmerde family took possession of the mill in 1868. The current owner has a cattle feed company, but no longer uses the mill. However, guided tours are provided by the family. The Gebr. Remmerde is a grinding skill. The mill has two pairs of grinding stones that can be used to grind grain. The hatch is a towing hatch.
