The Wind Koren Mill of Wenum is a thatched ground sailor. This mill capable of grinding can be found on Marleweg in Wenum. It was the third mill at this location in a short period of time; two earlier mills burned down in 1908 and 1913 respectively. The current mill was not newly built at this location, but was built in 1840 as a polder mill in Baambrugge. The current owners, the Vorderman family, are descendants of F. Vorderman, who bought the polder mill in 1913 to use it as a grain mill.
