The polder mill of Zuilichem is a ground sailer built in 1720 as an upper mill of a mill and is located at Meidijk 15 in Zuilichem. It is a wooden octagon on stone footings. The mill used to drain the village polder Zuilichem but is no longer used for this purpose. The mill is owned by the Molenstichting Gelders Rivierengebied. The Poldermolen is capable of grinding and has been grinding in circuit since 1973 and can be visited by appointment. The 27.75 long flight is Old Dutch and has welded rods, which date from 1991. For this purpose, it had fled riveted iron potrods. From 1939 to 1991 the mill was equipped with Dekker sails. The mill has a Flemish catch for catching (shutting down), which is operated with a seesaw pole. The cast iron upper shaft is 6 m long. The hood has an English wheelwork for turning the hood to put the sails on the wind. The wheeling is done with the help of a wheeled reel. On one side, the hood has been raised by 4.5 cm due to the sagging of the mill. The water is pumped out with a 6.80 m large and 40 cm wide inner paddle wheel. In 2009 the mill was given a new king's spindle.
