Dreumel is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of West Maas en Waal, and lies about 4 km south of Tiel.It was first mentioned in 893 as Tremele. The etymology is unclear. The village developed along the Waal. The earliest houses were on Hogeweg and Rooysestraat. In the 14th century, there was a concentration around the church. The tower of Dutch Reformed Church dates from the 15th century and has elements from the 11th or 12th century. The church is from the 19th century. The Roman Catholic Church was built between 1868 and 1870. The tower was constructed in 1925. In 1840, it was home to 1,648 people.
