Brinkheurne is a hamlet in the municipality of Winterswijk located in the Gelderland Achterhoek, in the Netherlands. As of January 1, 2019, Brinkheurne had 279 inhabitants and has an area of 4 km². This makes it the smallest hamlet in the municipality by area. Brinkheurne lies east of Winterswijk towards Kotten. In earlier times, Brinkheurne was an important link for the smuggling route between Winterswijk and Oeding, which is just over the border in Germany. For most amenities, Brinkheurne relies on Winterswijk, although it does have its own supermarket and a catering establishment. Furthermore, there is also a campsite located in the area.
