Kilder is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The village was part of the former municipality of Bergh and has 1508 inhabitants (01-01-2007). The village is located five kilometers southwest of Doetinchem and about ten kilometers north of 's-Heerenberg. The village is located near the nature and forest area Bergherbos, also called Montferland.
Sights
The Church of Saint John the Baptist in Kilder is a neo-Gothic building from 1885-1886, designed by Alfred Tepe. The stained glass windows of the church were designed by Father Humbert Randag, Franciscan.Of the public primary school designed in 1893 by architect Hendrik Ovink from Doetinchem, only the house is still standing. The house is a municipal monument. The Rembrandt Mill.
