The Geertruida Cornelia is a round stone ground sailer in the village of Gorssel, Gelderland. The permit to build the mill was applied for in 1893, but the construction was only completed in 1895 due to the death of the applicant. Next to the mill, a mechanical grinding installation was also built in 1896, powered by a petroleum engine of eight horsepower. The engine was replaced by a diesel engine in 1921. The windmill came to a standstill in 1935 due to a breakage of the sails. Both sails were removed: one sail (cut into beams) is still in a neighbor's barn, the other sail has ended up in the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem. The motor mill took over the work of the windmill until 1972. In 1999, the entire mill complex, including the miller's house and grinding mill, was restored. The mill was officially opened in 2000.
