Just outside Neede in the hamlet of Lochuizen is De Hollandsche Molen. The mill as it stands today was put into use in January 1927, after the standard mill that stood there on August 10, 1925 was destroyed by the cyclone that also hit Borculo hard. The association De Hollandsche Molen, in cooperation with the National Support Committee "Stormramp", took care of the construction of the new mill. The new mill is named after the association that made its construction possible. The mill was restored in 1998/1999. The Hollandsche Molen is a round stone windmill with the function of a flour mill. Thanks to volunteer millers, the mill is still in regular operation.
