Description

The Zwiepse Molen is a flour mill on the Zwiepseweg in Zwiep in the Dutch province of Gelderland.
The mill was built in 1851 near the Diepe Put on the Zwiepse Berg near Barchem. The mill was moved several times due to poor wind, the last time in 1880. Since 1992, the mill has been managed by the Stichting Behoud Zwiepse Molen. The mill has one grinding torque with 16der artificial stones and an electrically driven grinding chair. In the past there was also a fur couple which can still be seen from the beams in the stone attic.
