Description

Zwolle is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. In the vernacular, Zwolle is also called Zwolle bi-j Grolle "Zwolle bie Grolle": Zwolle near Groenlo) to distinguish it from the city of Zwolle. Since the municipal reorganization on 1 January 2005, the hamlet has been part of the municipality of Oost Gelre. It is bordered to the east by the municipality of Vreden in Germany, to the south by the hamlets of Meddo (Winterswijk) and Lievelde (Lichtenvoorde), to the north by the Holterhoek (Eibergen) and Hupsel (ditto), to the west by Avest and the aldermen of the city of Groenlo.
