The Tienhovense Plassen are a water-rich nature and recreation area in the Dutch municipality of Stichtse Vecht. Including the Eastern Inner Polder of Tienhoven, the area is more than 200 ha in size. The area is located east of the ribbon village of Tienhoven with the Loosdrechtse Plassen.De Tienhovense Plassen on the north side were created by dyeing. The structure of cap holes and laying fields in various stages of landfall leads to a varied environment in which special plants and animals occur. The area is part of the Natura 2000 area Oostelijke Vechtplassen and is managed by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten. At the Tienhovense Plassen is the seesaw watermill De Trouwe Waghter.
