In monumental terms, the estate today includes the main building, the garden and park landscaping, an entrance gate and a garden dome. The main building and the entrance gate date from around 1750. In this period, the mansion of Andries Pels was completely replaced by a grand building on behalf of the new owner Pieter Trip, presumably designed by the architect Jean Coulon, and the current main building was created. Afterwards, adjustments were made. The fencing was made by the Amsterdam master blacksmith Gijsbert van Dijk. The garden dome dates from 1776.
