KV Maastricht is a Dutch korfball club from Maastricht. The club was founded on June 30, 1995, and is the southernmost korfball club in the Netherlands. The club emerged from a merger between KV Trega and Amby's Körfke, which played women's korfball. Because in 1993 the survival chances of KV Trega as an independent association were deemed very low by the then management, they sought rapprochement with Amby's Körfke. Initially, this was not unwilling to a far-reaching collaboration.
