The town hall of the municipality of Maarn was designed in 1925 in a traditional style by J. Pothoven. Following this design, an almost identical town hall was built in Wolphaartsdijk (Municipality of Goes) four years later by H.A. Pothoven. In 1963 and 1979, the town hall was expanded with new wings. These are not protected.
