Description

Especially in spring, when there are few day visitors, Kwintelooyen is a fascinating place to walk through. The former sand quarry has developed into a species-rich nature reserve in recent decades. The natterjack toad is one of the showpieces. From the end of March, these amphibians emerge from the ground to reproduce in the pools.
