Hof Espelo is an estate located northwest of Enschede and southeast of Hengelo. It is bisected by two streams: the Leutinkbeek and the Eschbeek. In 2010 there are still seven farms and a former coach house on the estate. The mansion is also still inhabited. Landschap Overijssel has owned the approximately 150 hectare area since 1984. There is a children's play forest and a visitor centre.
