Brugstraat is a street in the city center of Groningen. The street runs from the Akerkhof to the Hoge der A, over which the bridge lies that the street is not named after. The street is named after a medieval family Ten Brugge, which lived in a stone house by the bridge. On the other side of the bridge, the name changes to Astraat.
