Horse mill
The Rosmolen which is not a horse mill, because it is a water mill. The only one of the three watermills that Venray has ever had. The mill does have the shape of a horse mill. The name is derived from a horse mill that used to be located near a farm and was driven by a horse. First mention in the archives ca. 1520. The current square mill building dates from the 18th or 19th century, as does the house. The house is a long-gable farmhouse with thatched gable roof with wolf end on the northwest side. Now a national monument and belonging to the Geysteren Estate
