The castle the Gelderse Toren is a large round tower located in Spankeren by the Gelderse IJssel in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is situated in the floodplains of the IJssel. The oldest mention of the tower in Spankeren dates back to 1535.
The Gelderse Toren has been a national monument since 1970 and has been part of the historical estate 'De Gelderse Toren' since 2001, which also includes the coach house, the orangery, several service residences, the inlet sluices, and the park layout.
