The Museonder is the first underground museum in the world and is located in the Visitor Centre (on the Marchantplein in the centre of the Park). The museum gives a surprising picture of everything that lives and has lived beneath the earth's surface. The exhibition takes you deeper and deeper into the soil. Eventually, you even end up at the center of the earth.
Along the way you can discover the most curious things: a complete root system of a 135-year-old tree, stones that tell their story of origin if you put your hand on it and is a water laboratory. There are also the bones of animals that have been extinct for thousands of years.
Info:
The Museonder is open from 09:30 to 17:00. From April to October it is open until 18:00.
