Vegtlust is a country estate and national monument at Oud Over 3 in Loenen aan de Vecht. The house from the beginning of the 18th century stands on the eastern bank of the Vecht on a plot of 0.25 ha. Due to the limited building space along the Vecht, the plots of the country estates were small and the houses were rather close together. In 1738 Boudewijn Ploos van Amstel and Geertruij Grim came to live in Vegtlust which is described as: Heerenhuizinge and homestead called Vegtlust, with timbered, potting and planting, with the land behind it, large 15 morgen and 2 rods including 700 rods of peatland, standing and located in the court Loosdrecht and Loenderveen.
