U.S. Wind Engine Genderen
The American wind engine or rose mill is a type of windmill with many blades (blades) and can be seen as a successor to the classic types of Dutch windmills and watermills. This type of windmill was often used in the Netherlands in the first half of the 20th century for the drainage of smaller polders. The wind turbine is the modern version of the wind engine and is used almost exclusively to generate electricity. The Mill in Genderen was completely restored a few years ago, which was possible because the province of North Brabant, among others, provided a subsidy.
