Description

Between Sittard and Geleen lies the town of Munstergeleen, where Joannes Andreas Houben was born on December 11, 1821, better known as Father Karel van Sint Andries.

In 1954 the barn was converted into a chapel at the birthplace on the Geleenbeek. A place where you can find a source of strength, whether for a short prayer or to light a candle or to take a walk in the garden.
Since October 2012 it has also housed a museum and a shop selling religious items.
