The Welvaart is a belt mill on Molenweg in Horn. The stone mill was built in 1865, not far from the mill De Hoop.
During the retreat of the German troops at the end of World War II, explosives were placed in the mill, just like in De Hoop, but the Germans were surprised by shell fire and could not complete their task. As a result, the mill is one of the few mills in Limburg that survived the war without serious damage.
