Description

Nooit Gedacht is a flour mill at 't Rimpelt 20 in Afferden. The round brick belt mill from 1958 stands on a natural mill mountain and most resembles a ground sailer with an entrance under the mill. The mill replaced an 1886 mill that had been blown up at the end of World War II. For the parts, the Sint-Josephmolen was purchased, the windmill of the Limburg Agricultural and Horticultural Association in Venray-Heide. This cooperative mill was built in 1904 and became superfluous due to mechanization. In turn, the parts in this mill came from the Gasthuismolen in Tiel, which was dismantled in 1905.
