The Arenborg is a 17th-century complex under construction in the hamlet of 't Ven, in the northeastern bantuin of the municipality of Venlo. The complex is a protected national monument, number 37153. The name Arenborg is first mentioned in the sixties of the 16th century. In 1567 Wilhelm ingen Aerenborch and his partner sold to Anna ingen Rae three mornings of land located near 'den gut ingen Aerenborgh'. This is so far the oldest known mention of an agricultural foundation on this site.
