The Paasberg in Terborg in the Dutch Achterhoek is a natural hill located between the Paasberglaan and 't Veld in the southeast of Terborg.
The hill is an old river dune complex, formed during the last ice age, when not the Oude IJssel, but a precursor of the Rhine flowed through the area. Due to the sparse and open vegetation that grew under dry and cold climatic conditions, these so-called young cover sands were deposited. These cover sands mainly consist of non-clay fine sandy deposits. The deposits of the large rivers belong to the Kreftenheye formation. The river dunes near the Oude IJssel are also considered part of the Kreftenheye formation.
