Boswachterij Ruurlo is a nature reserve that is located southwest of Ruurlo in the Dutch province of Gelderland and is approximately 500 hectares in size. The nature reserve consists mainly of forests interspersed with meadows. This is also called a scenic landscape, a type of landscape that can be found in more places in the Achterhoek. In the area there are typical Eastern Dutch hall house farms. The nature reserve originated from the estate that belonged to Ruurlo Castle. Today, the Ruurlo forestry farm is managed by Staatsbosbeheer.
