The Buskersbos is a deciduous forest along the Slingebeek southeast of the Dutch town of Winterswijk and a nature reserve. It is also part of the National Landscape Winterswijk, declared by the Dutch government in 2005, covering a total area of nearly 22,000 hectares. The Buskersbos is full of ancient deciduous trees. Along the creek, you can find medlar, bird cherry, and ash trees. Oaks grow on the higher, sandy soil. In spring, the ground is white with wood anemones. The area includes several parcels of grassland where cowslips grow. In the ponds, the crested newt and the small water newt live. The forest is not far from the Borkense Baan.
