Ootmarsum is a state-protected townscape in Ootmarsum in the Dutch province of Overijssel. The designation procedure was initiated on 25 January 1990. The site was definitively designated on 13 May 1996. The protected area covers an area of 7.6 hectares.
Buildings that fall within a protected area do not automatically receive the status of protected monuments. However, the municipality will amend the zoning plan to regulate new developments in the area. Face protection focuses on the urban planning and cultural-historical appreciation of an area and aims to safeguard its future functioning.
