The Grote or Sint-Nicolaaskerk is the most important church in the Dutch city of Elburg. The building is located in the northeast corner of the historic downtown.
The church was founded in 1396, when the town was moved inland, and was completed around 1450. The patron saint is Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors and fishermen. It is a three-aisled pseudo-basilica with masonry cross rib vaults. Since around 1580 the church has been in Protestant hands. The oak choir screen and two choir stalls date from before the Reformation.
