Description

In the Zandbergen you can still find remains of 'machine gun nests' built by the Germans. Coming from the Drielandweg you will find one on the right side of the Ravenhorsterweg, a few meters from the roadside in the forest. (About 200 meters after the junction with the Drielandweg). This was intended to cover the bridge over the Dinkel during the retreat at the end of the war.
