The first news about the presence of an organ in the church dates back to 1400, and, in 1403, a certain Nicolaus Koleman is mentioned in the role of organist. Johan van Kovelens, between 1520 and 1523, made a new organ, an instrument that was largely enlarged by Casper Noster in 1570. Some repairs were carried out in 1581 by Cornelis and Michael Slegel, followed by others between 1626 and 1647 by Johan Morleth.
The organ was replaced in 1676 by Johan Slegel, who reused the five wedge-shaped bellows and part of van Kovelens' material for the realization of a new instrument, whose phonic arrangement was as follows:
