The Tafelberg is a raised hill in the Gooi region of the Dutch province of North Holland. The boundary between the municipalities of Huizen and Blaricum runs along the eastern edge of the Tafelbergheide. The hill has a height of 39.2 meters above NAP, making it the highest point in the Gooi area. The hill has a prominence of about 8 meters. In the eighteenth century, the hill was already visited for its far-reaching views, including sights such as the Dom Tower, the Great Church of Naarden, and Pampus. At the top of the hill, there is an observation point with an orientation platform.
