Tafelberg or Kooltjesberg is a hill in the Dutch province of North Holland. The name Kooltjesberg would refer to the coal that was used for the fire that burned as a beacon on the Zuiderzee. Over the hill runs the border of the municipalities of Huizen and Blaricum on the eastern edge of the Tafelbergheide. The hill has a height of 39.2 meters above sea level and is therefore the highest point of the Gooi. The hill has a prominence of approximately 8 meters. In the eighteenth century, the hill was already visited because of the distant view of, among other things, the Dom tower, the Grote Kerk of Naarden and Pampus. At the top of the hill there is a viewpoint with orientation plateau.
