Valuation Drawbridge of general interest because of architectural and cultural-historical value: - as an example of a simple drawbridge from 1927 in the province of Groningen - because of the rather high degree of coolness - because of the functional relationship with the surrounding landscape - because of the spatial and functional relationship with the lock - because of its striking and iconic location on the Hoornse Diep (source: Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands)
