The Windmotor Uitwellingerga 1 is a polder mill east of the Frisian twin village of Oppenhuizen/Uitwellingerga, which is located in the Dutch municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân. This mill is a grinding American wind engine of the Herkules Energie type, which was manufactured at the Vereinigte Windturbine Werke AG in Dresden. It has a wind wheel of 21 blades and a diameter of 6 meters and is the only remaining wind motor in this version in the Netherlands. Since 1929, the mill has been draining the Geeuwpolder on the Doltesloot, a summer polder east of Oppenhuizen, now a nature reserve owned by the Forestry Commission. This is also drained by the Windmotor Uitwellingerga 2 located a little further north and by the Geeuwpoldermolen, a spider head mill that stands on the west side of the Geeuwpolder. The wind engine is a national monument and owned by the Wetterskip Fryslân. It is not open to the public.
