The Amerongse Berg is a hill in the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug in the Dutch province of Utrecht and is, with an elevation of 69.2 meters above sea level, the highest point in the province. The hill is located to the northeast of Amerongen in the Amerongsche Bosch, one of the oldest forests in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Most forests on the ridge are no older than a century, but in the Amerongsche Bosch, some Scots pines date back to 1770. The forest was established as a hunting area for the lords of the castle Amerongen, located in the Amerongse Bovenpolder.
