From 1838 to 1934, the District Court of Tiel was a district court in the Netherlands. At the time of its foundation, Tiel was the fourth arrondissement of the province of Gelderland. The arrondissement was divided into four cantons: Tiel, Geldermalsen, Culemborg and Zaltbommel. In 1882 the court was given a new courthouse designed by J.F. Metzelaar. The arrondissement was abolished in 1934 and merged into the arrondissement of Arnhem.
