The Driedijkenpunt is a point where the Waaldijk, the Maasdijk and the Heerewaardense Afsluitdijk meet. The point lies between the Maas and the Waal, between Heerewaarden and Dreumel, just north of the hamlet Veluwe.De Heerewaardense Afsluitdijk, like the Kloosterdijk further downstream, is unique in the Netherlands, because they do not have the function of protecting land. They separate the Meuse from the Waal. The Heerewaardense Afsluitdijk runs from Heerewaarden parallel to the Waal. The Kloosterdijk is located west of the Canal of St. Andries near Rossum. Both dikes are managed by the Rivierenland Water Board.
