Station Stroe was a station in the Dutch village of Stroe, located on the Eastern Railway, between station Amersfoort and station Apeldoorn. The station was opened in 1881, five years after the opening of the Eastern Railway, by the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij as a trial station for passenger traffic and was then still called 'Het Stroe'. In 1882, a station building was constructed, in 1900 a house for the station assistant, and in 1906 a military loading/unloading dock. In 1916, during World War I, the "Dutch Railway Troops" built a 300-meter long platform. This served as an exercise in the context of mobilization. In this sparsely populated area, only military personnel from the nearby army base Harskamp made use of Het Stroe. On May 15, 1938, the station was closed to passengers, but it remained open for freight traffic.
