Stein Castle

With the Archeo Route Limburg you will discover the stories behind Limburg's history and archaeology. The most important places of this route are marked with a work of art in the shape of a spear.
Over the centuries, Stein Castle has housed an impressive series of special residents under its roof. You will visit an iconic structure, which has seen expansion and prosperity over the centuries, but also decay, until the ruin has organically merged into the beautiful, romantic castle park in English landscape style.
Today, the volunteers of the Erfgoed Stein Foundation still provide guided tours on request and ensure that the stories about this special place are not lost.
Stein Castle is one of the wonder locations on the Route full of Wonder.
