In commonwealth war graves, the crew members of the British Halifax bomber, which crashed at the Kribben bridge on 22 January 1944, have found a final resting place. (See also point 27). We call their names with respect: Sgt. S. (Ernie) Henman, aged 24. Sgt. C.G. (Conrad) Johnston, aged 26. Sgt. J.F. (Jack) Morgan, aged 26. Sgt. J.K. (Jack) Thompson, aged 20. Sgt. L. (Len) Wykes, aged 22.
